Additionally, the NPS provides visitors with custom-made maps in park brochures, specifically designed for Rocky Mountain National Park. These maps feature elements like an invisible grid for organization, shaded relief for visual depth, and detailed representations of rivers, lakes, roads, and trails, all derived from precise geospatial data.

A lighthouse is a tower-like structure typically equipped with a powerful light at the top, designed to emit light to aid navigation for maritime vessels at sea or in coastal areas. Historically, lighthouses used open flames fueled by oil or gas, but modern lighthouses use electric lamps or other advanced lighting systems. Lighthouses serve as important navigational aids, helping ships avoid hazards such as rocks, reefs, and shallow waters, especially during periods of low visibility or darkness. Additionally, lighthouses often have unique designs and architectural features, making them notable landmarks and attractions for tourists. Here, I have created the Washington Lighthouse Map in ArcGIS which is a comprehensive digital map showcasing the locations of lighthouses throughout the state of Washington. It provides detailed information about each lighthouse, including its historical significance, operational status, and any notable features.
