One of the reasons I love working at Google is because it gives a chance to work with marketers like Juan Carlos (JC) Gaal who sees 10 steps ahead, and is able put any marketing decision into broader business context. His new article is an insightful read about bridging the gap between revenue ops and event tracking in order to "navigate the complexities of the modern market with clarity and confidence". JC emphasizes that businesses often struggle with a disconnect between these two critical areas, leading to wasted data (73% of data goes unused for analytics!) and missed opportunities.
