⚡Large Eddy Simulation (LES) CFD around an object⚡ Large Eddy Simulations, or LES, as they are more commonly referred to, can capture intricate eddies that are more prominent in the wake of an object as fluid flows over it. LES requires much more computational time than the Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) models, which are used more frequently commercially. This is an example of amplification of deflection vibration of rods due to lack of damping, at specific natural frequencies. here it is excited by the wind turbulence. Adding a short 8 inch long section of rubber hose [ loose, not tight] at the bottom of each, will be enough to damp all vibration.
