Growing up, I realized I had this "Superpower" of fumbling with products. Even the simplest gadgets seemed to break in my hands. I've jammed my MP3 player, dropped ice creams' scoop, crashed my Mac, and gotten lost on airline booking sites. It was frustrating to spend my hard-earned pocket money on something I wanted, only to see it break easily, especially when it wasn't designed with user experience in mind. It felt like I had to adapt to the product rather than it serving me—if you know what I mean! When I went to design school, I had a lightbulb moment: products should be designed to serve the user, not the other way around. That realization became my mission—to design products that genuinely enhance the user's experience. That's what inspired this series, "Unveiling Standing Desk Woes." During a project last year, we discovered that many people, whether they bought a cheap or expensive standing desk, were stuck with poorly designed products that didn't add value to their lives. Users were settling for mediocrity. No hidden agenda here, just hope this mini-series helps you choose a better standing desk and avoid throwing your money away on something that doesn't serve you.
