Returning home after Regrow Ag’s 2nd Agriculture resilience summit with a few key takeaways: 🥇Corporates leaders in regenerative action have a systematic approach in their procurement strategy. No one off pilots. 💰 Pilots below $250k won’t convince farmers or other internal stakeholders required to scale. 🤝Joining existing coalitions and programmes will increase momentum for change. 🏞️ Landscape-level regenerative programmes should build on the work already accomplished on carbon accounting, and not seek to replace it. 🌱 Scope 3 disclosure and action are licences to operate, and the cost of inaction is higher than the cost of action. My heartfelt thanks to Anastasia Volkova, PhD and the whole Regrow team for convening such an important group of players of these important themes. Looking forward to seeing you all next year. Bees are nature’s tiny, buzzing superheroes. They’re the ultimate workaholics, visiting up to 5,000 flowers a day without a single coffee break. If they had LinkedIn, they’d list skills like “Expert pollinator and honey producer.” 🐝 About one-third of our food depends on bee pollination. No bees means no apples, almonds, blueberries, or even coffee. Imagine waking up without coffee—terrifying, right? 🍏 🍇 ☕ Bees are also environmental influencers, ensuring biodiversity and healthy ecosystems. They make sure our gardens and fields stay vibrant, like eco-friendly Instagrammers promoting lush, green spaces. 💐 Honey, the sweet nectar bees produce, is a natural marvel. It's a delicious sweetener, cough remedy, and skincare product all in one. Honey’s resume would make maple syrup blush. 🍯 🐻 Bees live in highly organized colonies with a queen bee leading, worker bees hustling, and drones doing their thing. Their efficiency is enviable; we’d have four-day workweeks if we were as organized. 📈 However, bees face threats like habitat loss, pesticides, and climate change. Imagine working in a constantly moving, poisoned, extreme environment. Tough, right? We must protect their habitats and plant bee-friendly gardens. 🚫 So, next time you see a bee, give it a nod. They’re busy saving the world, one flower at a time. 👋 🐝 #Worldbeeday Cadworks Glasgow MAPP LAH Property Marketing

**Simbiofish: Where Patience Meets Prosperity** At Simbiofish, we're more than just an aggregator; we're a community of farmers across the nation, united by a shared vision. Our philosophy is simple: slow and steady wins the race. We embrace a methodical, unhurried approach to fish farming, where the emphasis is on enjoying the process rather than rushing through it. We believe that the best things in life, much like the fish in our ponds, require time to grow. Here, there's no hustle, no rush. Instead, we focus on nurturing each step of the journey, from the tranquility of the water to the health of every fish. Join us at Simbiofish, where we value patience, quality, and the serene rhythm of nature. With our extensive network of partners across the country, we're growing together, not quickly, but beautifully, in the calm waters of sustainable aquaculture.

Last week, interns had the chance to attend the Fundamentals of Resilient Agriculture workshop at White Oak Pastures' non-profit organization, the Center for Agricultural Resilience (CFAR). We explored the core principles of regenerative agriculture and learned how White Oak Pastures is actively working to decommoditize, decentralize, and deindustrialize our food system while rebuilding community connections. White Oak Pastures emphasizes a holistic approach to nature’s cycles. Instead of focusing solely on the carbon cycle, they consider the energy, microbial, water, mineral, and grazing cycles, along with the community. This broader perspective leads to measurable outcomes that benefit people, animals, and the land. When holistic land management is done correctly, the total net emissions from animal agriculture are significantly lower than those from conventionally raised beef and even plant-based options, making regenerative agriculture a far superior choice for all without sacrificing our health in the process. We toured the farm, compost areas, and processing facility, including the kill floor, which is a vital step in reconnecting us with our food and honoring the animals that sustain our health. While I could talk about regenerative agriculture endlessly, my favorite aspect of the event was the sense of community. We frequently gather around a large table for meals, not just at CFAR but as part of the everyday experience, engaging with one another—including Will Harris, who was always available and happy to answer any questions. Everyone at CFAR is enthusiastic, passionate and excited about regenerative agriculture and White Oak Pastures is truly leading the way. #Holisticlandmanagement #regenerativeagriculture #thefutureisregenerative #centerforagriculturalresilience #cfar #whiteoakpastures

▶ Summer and Webinar ◀ 🌞 This summer gives another spotlight on the New Normal in our society’s polycrisis. From erratic weather, dwindling biodiversity and water supplies to fragile supply chains, accelerating costs of living, and silver rattling geopolitics - times are challenging, to say the least. Whereas northern and central Europeans are trying to deal with unusual amounts of rain, the South of Europe is battling heat and drought. 🌾 Yet everywhere farmers are ceaselessly growing and harvesting food for our tables. 🍅 We want to express our gratitude for all the people in Europe working so hard in the summer to assure there will be meals to come - harvesting tomatoes under the burning Italian heat or driving harvesters day and night on the vast fields of emptied rural regions across our continent. ❗ Before going into a short summer ‘hibernation’ with EARA’s linkedin content, we want to grow your excitement for our upcoming roundtable series on regenerative agriculture. We will discuss with farmer heroes and experts the big topics concerning regenerative agriculture and its critically important potential for facing the crises of our societies. STAY TUNED 🌱
