We need to evolve and fine-tune so that we can succeed also in this new market environment."   ✺ On AI and technology, Teemu says: "We're now seeing the first kind of real changes or effect on the productivity in software development. I'm grateful that I'm able to be a part of this journey." Although this was written by Akio Morita nearly 45 years ago it has a lot of resonance in today's rather volatile world! He believed that product innovation would keep the business alive, this is also true today. As #businessleaders we know that sustaining an innovation culture can be hard however, with a great vision for our organisation and this being supported by investment in people and technology, then innovation becomes embedded as part of our values and beliefs; our 'Why'. Customers recognise this point of difference in both b2b and b2c business models and especially as an underpinning of our brand value. For #salesleaders it is always better to compete at an innovation and value creation level. "Me Too" product means price competition unless we have an amazing service wrapper, however that still has a value limit. To excite and inspire our customers, we know that they need to buy into 'why' we do what we do and in any downturn this stands out a mile, so we should use it. Today let's try and focus on that point of difference in each of our deals, let's hunt customers that want innovation and a flow of ideas that could, in time, transform their business. These are the best long term customers for us, document them and their personal plans today and get out there and talk to them about it! #akiomorita #inspirationalleader #positivemindset
