🐾 Paw-sitive Huts: Where Compassion Meets Creativity! 🏠 We’ve got something pawsitively heartwarming to share with you! 🐶🏡 At Success Tea Consultants, we recently hosted our brand-new CSR activity: Paw-sitive Huts. 🌿🛠️ Imagine a room filled with laughter, teamwork, and the sweet scent of freshly cut wood. 🌲✨ What’s Paw-sitive Huts, you ask? 🤔 Well, it’s not your typical team-building exercise. Nope! We’re not balancing on ropes or solving complex puzzles (although those are fun too!). Instead, we’re rolling up our sleeves, grabbing our pliers, and creating cozy huts and kennels for our furry friends. 🐾🏠 🌟 The Nitty-Gritty Details: 🌟 * Big 4, Big Hearts: Our recent event brought together 270 participants from a renowned Big 4 consultancy. They weren’t just colleagues; they became carpenters, architects, and dog-loving superheroes! 🦸♂️🦸♀️ * 21 Huts, 1 Big Mission: Together, they assembled 21 adorable huts using sustainable materials. These huts aren’t just shelters; they’re havens of warmth and love for our four-legged pals. 🐕❤️ * From Workshop to Wagging Tails: But here’s the best part: these Paw-sitive Huts found their forever homes! We donated them to an NGO dedicated to uplifting stray dogs. 🌟🐾 🌿 Why Paw-sitive Huts Matter: 🌿 * Fur-tastic Team Bonding: Forget trust falls; try hammering nails side by side! Our participants discovered that teamwork isn’t just about spreadsheets; it’s about building something meaningful together. 🙌 * Sustainability Wins: By using eco-friendly materials, we’re not just helping our furry friends; we’re also giving Mother Earth a high-five. 🌎✨ * Wagging Tails, Happy Hearts: The joy in those wagging tails? Intentional acts require intentional follow up. So, plant a tree! This goes to a greater point: there are so many opportunities for us to help a planet that has provided us with countless resources. While we can’t replenish every single resource we’ve utilized, we can: 🌎 Monitor and help improve soil health 🌍 Design more effectively and efficiently 🌏 Consider the entire lifecycle of products 🌎 Plant - food, trees, flowers, etc. 🌍 Donate to conservation efforts Anything else? #PlantATreeDay #conservation #soilhealth #design

As Christmas nears, many work teams plan to gather for a Secret Santa event, where everyone anonymously brings another person a gift. The budget per gift is usually very low so they're usually cheaply-made, token, and end up tossed in a cupboard or in the bin, along with piles of discarded wrapping. UGH!! Secret Santa is disgustingly wasteful and damaging to the planet. But it doesn’t have to be! Here’s a checklist to prepare a defence, and to transform it into an event that does good for people and planet. 1. Managers, leaders, and business owners—Don’t enforce Secret Santa, in fact, lead the way by finding some other bonding activity that gives to the vulnerable, needy, and/or the planet. Involve the team in deciding the idea. 2. Employees—Share this post, it might encourage others to say no to the wasteful gift-giving. 3. If you must give gifts, think about ones that minimise waste or give back to the planet, like planting trees in someone’s name (https://lnkd.in/dgYVqaJ), or bringing a plate of food each. Beware of buying ‘sustainable’ gifts which are really just more stuff people don’t need. 4.
