Another great job submission! This time, I included an even more awesome cover letter. I know, right? I've always said I've disliked the cover letter but I had the opportunity on this application and so I did it. Not because I felt the need to bleed my heart about how I'm the best for the role. That's not what they are for (In My Opinion). I did it because the role would be a very different path from recruitment and the tech industry. I did it to explain why I was curious about the role. I explained how that curiosity could allow me to x, y, z, if I was chosen. I did it to tell a small story about an experience I had in this industry and here I am almost 20 years later coming full circle and how this opportunity excites me because of it. In conclusion, I connected the story to my curiosity and then my curiosity to my experience guiding them through my interest and excitement for the role. By showing your curiosity and excitement, by relating to the role, and being a strong storyteller, you too can create a great cover letter. Want to speak more? https://lnkd.in/gRucN-_V Don't forget to celebrate the small wins. A strong application is where the winning starts!
