I came across a video from 1997 where Jeff Bezos articulates why he started Amazon. What stood out to me wasn’t just his vision, but the fact that he was 30 when he made the leap. So often, we feel like time is slipping away, especially when we look back at our younger selves, imagining the life we’d be living by 25. But when that age comes, we realize two things: 1. 25 isn’t as old as we thought. 2. The dream of being a multimillionaire, working a 9-5, was a bit optimistic. It’s easy to feel like we’ve failed.
