A note to organizations seeking talent: Post job openings on your organization’s website before sharing them on job boards. Why? Your official pages on reputable job boards are being hacked. I’ve reported several instances where the links direct users to fake versions of your organization’s site and illegitimate job application sites, collecting information from genuine applicants. Savvy candidates will check your site before applying through any job boards due to the abundant scams involving false postings. This is how you might be losing potential applicants. If I don’t find the job opening on your site, I won’t apply through any job board because it lacks validity, and I won’t risk being scammed out of personal information.

Little-known tip that could prevent you from securing a better job.
