As L&D professionals, part of our job is to orchestrate experiences that bridge generational gaps and get employees feeling like teammates. If you're looking to shake things up, consider hosting a Spirit Week for your employees, and schedule a variety of events throughout the week. Here are some of our ideas to get you started. Leave a comment to add to the list! ⬇️ 1. Head to a local 🗝️ escape room 🗝️ to encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and communication. 2. Conduct an interactive 🤝 team building workshop 🤝 focused on enhancing a specific skill such as conflict resolution or leadership. 3. Plan an 👟 outdoor adventure 👟 such as hiking, zip-lining, or a ropes course to build trust and camaraderie. 4. Arrange to participate in a 🌎 community service project 🌎 to inspire a sense of shared purpose. 5. Host a 🥘 cooking class 🥘 to foster teamwork and creativity while also encouraging casual conversation and connection. 6. Organize a ❓ trivia night ❓ to rustle up some friendly competition. 7. Schedule a 🎨 creative workshop 🎨 such as painting or pottery to help employees get to know each other on a different level. #TeamBonding #TogetherWeWin #success #learninganddevelopment

Time to shake it up a bit. An excellent comment from Master Business Coach Karl Bryan entitled ‘A Grade Players’:   "C grade players want: EASY   B grade players want: CREDIT   A grade players want: PRESSURE   One A grade staff member is worth 5+ employees.   That’s why pro sports teams will trade 5+ players for a superstar.   High tide lifts all boats…. so does elite talent." Read that again and then contemplate your recruitment and retention strategy for your 'staff' (internal team)....and also INCLUDING that of your suppliers, sub contractors and professional advisors who are part of your wider external team.
