Small businesses are still feeling the hangover from COVID-19. Though optimism towards small business is low in the shadow of inflation, Chris Pilkerton, Former Head of the U.S. Small Business Administration, believes that that we need an action plan for future economic turmoil — and that plan can be non-partisan. Chris joined us to explain his perspective on crisis preparedness across the small business space. He also touches on what the paycheck protection program looked like from inside the White House and how we can learn from the past. #leadersinlending #innovation #adaptivity #leadership

"Sound decision-making is not about being certain, it's about doing your level best with the information in front of you." I really enjoyed this article by Former US President Barack Obama. We are faced with decisions in every sphere of our life. What has been your approach to making tough decisions? This is Obama’s strategy: 1️⃣ Listen to experts and follow the facts 2️⃣ Consider your goals and weigh them against your principles 3️⃣ Encourage diverse perspectives, even contrarian views 4️⃣ Take time to think, even in high-pressure situations 5️⃣ Trust your team and your own judgment What decision-making strategies do you use in your own leadership journey? #Leadership #DecisionMaking https://lnkd.in/dN42X2S2

The Key to Business Success: Serve More, Earn More Bill Orender, one of Primerica’s top leaders, shares a powerful insight into the true driver of financial success—service. Too often, we limit ourselves with outdated beliefs about wealth, thinking it’s selfish to want more. But according to Bill, "if you’re not making more money, it’s because you’re not helping enough people." The principle is simple: business is about making other people’s lives better. When you do that, you are rewarded financially so you can continue to serve more people. Bill’s challenge to all of us is to shift our focus from making money to creating value in the lives of others. By expanding our reach and helping more people, we unlock both financial growth and personal fulfillment. At Primerica, financial freedom isn’t just a possibility—it’s a promise for those willing to serve. 🎥 Link to the FULL Video in the comments... #PFSMedia #Primerica #publicspeaking #publicspeaker #stage #growth #event #primericalife #personaldevelopment #primericaproud #inspiration #motivation #education #financialfreedom #leadership

I genuinely feel for retail investors and anyone seeking financial advice. If you’ve done any research, you’ve probably come across overwhelming questions like: • How much do you need to retire? • Should you diversify? • How tax efficient are you? My advice: keep it simple. Find an adviser who genuinely cares about you and your unique circumstances. The right guidance should be straightforward and focused on your goals—not adding to the complexity. #financialadvice #leadership

In my pursuit to generate significant online income, I've been influenced by figures like Tony Robbins Michele Oneil and Gary Vaynerchuk, realizing the importance of creating value beyond the financial returns. This realization spurred the creation of my Legacy Builder Program. It’s designed not only to help people achieve financial freedom but also to empower them to build lasting legacies. #Leadership #Innovation #LegacyBuilding

I almost didn’t start my business, because I was afraid of failing: 🟡 I didn't have business connections in the new area where I lived 🟡 I was starting working for myself for the very first time 🟡 I didn't know whether I could make a go of it, to be honest Now, after eight years of trading, I run a successful leadership consultancy, with clients in the US and EMEA as well as the UK. I have a wonderful network of business friends who support me and refer clients to me (about 80% of my work is from word-of-mouth recommendations - how fab is that?!) Working for myself is THE BEST (sorry previous employers - KF comes a close second). Freedom to do what I want, for and with whom, when I want. I am still turning a profit, despite starting trading June 2016 (what joyous event happened then, folks 🤔 ?!) and experiencing recession after economic crisis pretty much ever since. Operating a discretionary-spend business is tough. It is, however, MASSIVELY rewarding. I am grateful I stuck to my guns and started. What have YOU started that you didn't think you would? I would love to know in the comments ... 👇 #tenacity #commitment #selfleadership #leadershipdevelopment #greenleadership

Create Succession Plan That Works Small and family-owned businesses that delay creating succession plans are endangering their company’s survival, according to Henry Hutcheson, founder and president of the consulting group Family Business USA in Chapel Hill, N.C. “It’s pretty stark if you look at what happens to family-owned businesses after there’s a change in leadership,” Hutcheson said. Statistics from the U.S. Small Business Administration show that two-thirds of family-owned businesses will not survive a leadership change.
