As we release our 2023 Impact Report and look back on the achievements of our partnerships from last year, we also believe it is important to look ahead and focus on challenges we face and the work still to be done to help reduce the causes and impacts of fuel poverty. National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week! No one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from or whether they’ll have a safe place to sleep. Saturdays (weekends) are for charity also 👇 If you're looking for impactful ways to help vulnerable children and families in your local community on weekends, here are four things you can do: 1. Volunteer your time, skills, or resources at local organizations. 3. Donate to organizations that work to support them. 4. Offer emotional support to families who are struggling. 5. Educate yourself and others about the issues to raise awareness. P.S. It's important to remember that every family is special and unique, no matter where they live or what challenges they may be facing. Whether it's poverty, substance use, food insecurity, trauma, or physical and mental health, many families in every community go through these struggles, and it can put them at risk of breaking down.
