A friend recently joined Team United as a flight attendant trainee. When I saw his mother yesterday showing a Proud Mama photo of him in his new uniform, I asked if he was working Christmas Eve. "Oh, yes!," she said. "And Christmas Day?," I asked. "Uh huh!," she enthusiastically replied. It reminded me of how much United employees give back to be in good spirits and commit to long work hours to make holiday travel better for the public. Kudos United Airlines!
Would love to be part of the United Team I recently put in for a position at Washington Dulles would love for an @United Airlines Recruitment to reach out to me
⛵ Sailing beyond limits to reach new destinations. ⛵
The story of Marco Rossato and the Timonieri Sbandati deeply inspires us, and we are proud to accompany his sea adventures!
Marco is an extraordinary example of determination and energy, who has taught us to understand that the sea should be experienced by all who love it. Equal conditions of #comfort need to be created for everyone, so that anyone, regardless of age, strength, or ability, can enjoy the beauty of the sea.
His extraordinary "Giro d'Italia" completed in tandem with Igor Macera, from Venice to Genoa, has shown us that limits should always urge us to look beyond.
Don't miss the opportunity to meet Marco as he tours the sections of the Naval League, Sailing Clubs, and associations to recount the Giro d'Italia done on a 100% electric sailboat, meticulously restored to make navigation comfortable for all; MarineCork's choice perfectly meets this need.

🌊 A Seaman’s Life: Embracing the Adventure at Sea 🌊
As an experienced Chief Officer, I've had the privilege of living and working on the open sea. The breathtaking moments captured in this video are just a glimpse into the incredible journey that defines a seaman's life. The vast expanse of the ocean, the serene sunsets, and the bond formed with fellow crew members are just a few highlights of this adventurous career.
🌟 Highlights of My Journey:
Endless Horizons: Witnessing the mesmerizing beauty of the sea, with its ever-changing colors and moods.
Daily Adventures: Every day at sea brings a new experience, from navigating through calm waters to weathering thrilling storms.
Team Spirit: The bond among crew members is unparalleled, built on trust, teamwork, and shared experiences.
Skill and Precision: Navigating the seas requires expertise, constant learning, and a deep understanding of maritime practices.
⚓ Life at Sea is not just a job; it's a passion and a way of life. It's about finding joy in the little moments, whether it's the quiet morning watch, the sight of dolphins playing alongside the ship, or the satisfaction of a job well done.
For those who dream of adventure, the sea offers a world of possibilities. Here’s to my fellow seamen who brave the waves, explore the unknown, and make the ocean their home.

Strong Institutions #CSW68
This story from a female captain in Spain perfectly highlights why strengthening institutions with a gender focus matters!
Imagine growing up by the sea, drawn to it, but facing societal expectations to pursue a different path. This captain defied them, excelling in a male-dominated field.
Strengthening institutions – universities, maritime authorities – means ensuring fair access and opportunities for women like her. This goes beyond enrollment. It's about dismantling unconscious bias, promoting female mentors, and creating policies that support women in reaching leadership roles.
Let's create a maritime industry (and all industries!) where women captains are the norm, not the exception. #WomenInMaritime#GenderEquality
