Welcome to Davos. Welcome to undo Davos, the new Davos. What is on Davos, the Andavo summit, is an incredible way of harnessing the collective intelligence, the collective brainpower of people that are at the Magic Mountain during this week where world leaders convene. But at the same time, there is about 1520 thousand people that are here at the same time to have the conversations that need to happen on a wide variety of topics. When the term on Davos was created, there were two, I'd say, schools of thought about it. 1 was unconference in Davos. The idea of saying well, rather than having the structured, controlled, dominated way of saying it's this, it's this, it's this, how about we unconference it so we have a space, we have people, let's just decide to how we fit things together. The second view is underground babbles. I was more like my view, but underground Davos was more that at the time, this was, let's say, the unofficial side of Davos. Now, the unofficial side of Davos at that time included even the bigger consulting firms, because they weren't in the war. They were next to the Wharf. So I think to some extent, and Davos was really just replicating what had been done by consulting firms and banks. In the 1990s and where it just then democratizing it and bringing it to not quite the masses, but certainly a lot more than the few. When the idea was first developed, I was looking at democratizing Davos, humanizing Davos, and bringing action to Davos. Democratizing Davos from means how do we bring more people in? How do we have a more inclusive conversation? How do we that represent different topics, different genders, different parts of society, and in the world of the few, that's really hard because there's a limited number of tickets. But democratizing Davos practically meant how do we then allow more people to? Which means apartment sharing and all kinds of crazy stuff. And then once are there, how do you gives people something to go do? The next thing was how do you humanize Davos? This is pretty important because in a transaction based world, it's really money, money, money. But in a relationship built world, we want to connect to people as humans. We have ideas, we knock things around, we have fun. But there's humanized experience of Davos materially changes how people behave and interact at this special time. Bringing action to Davos is then one of the critical things. How do you then facilitate the conversations that actually get things done? The Wharf gets a reputation for being a talking shop and that's entirely justified. But right now, if we look at the world of underboss, this is about people across all different areas. We've all spectrum of society trying to actually get things done and that makes it a lot more meaningful. We now have almost 100 different panels on many, many different topics. So right now, taking advantage of harnessing the power of the crowd at the special time, the sort of concentration of brain power and energy just makes it an incredibly special place. But it's also a place where you really can get things done. I hope to see you all next year on the Magic Mountain. Thank you all.

What if networking wasn’t about collecting contacts but about collecting ideas? At unDavos 2025, we’re redefining what it means to connect 🫱🏽🫲🏾
We call it Network with Intent, where we move beyond handshakes and LinkedIn requests to creating meaningful, purpose-driven exchanges.
In a world that often feels too fast and too transactional, these curated sessions are about slowing down, diving deeper, and finding those “aha!” moments that spark collaboration 💡
True collaboration is more than just being in the same room – it’s about contributing actively, sharing openly, and building something greater together. It’s about valuing each connection not just for what it brings to you, but for how it helps shape collective progress. When we approach connection with curiosity and a genuine desire to co-create, we unlock possibilities that are transformative, not transactional.
