Poverty continues to impact over 333 million children worldwide, denying them access to basic needs such as food, shelter, and education. Every child deserves the right to grow up free from poverty. Our efforts to end violence against children must also address the root causes, including economic inequality and deprivation. Let’s take collective action to lift children out of poverty. #EndChildPoverty #NoMorePoverty

Our children can no longer wait. One in six children in Australia are living below the poverty line. In real numbers, that’s 761,000 individual Australian children living in poverty, and more than 200,000 experiencing severe poverty. These rates are completely unacceptable. They’re unacceptable because of the impacts they have on our children and young people but, mostly, they’re unacceptable because it’s a problem that we can fix if we have the will to do so. That’s why I’m backing a legislative response to fixing child poverty in Australia – once and for all. @UnitingCommunities is proud to join the @ValuingChildrenInitiative to take action. Together, we’re calling on all Governments, state and federal, to legislate an end to child poverty. This is an opportunity to impact children’s lives positively and you can contribute to an Australia where every child is provided with the support needed to thrive and shape a better tomorrow. Check out our call for change here ➡ https://lnkd.in/gYeunM2T #LegislatetoEndChildPoverty #ValuingChildrenInitiative #NoChildInPoverty

On this International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, let's imagine a world where every child is well-fed, parents are proud providers, and communities thrive on hope. At Pure Bayanihan, we work tirelessly in making this a reality. Fighting poverty isn't about numbers – it's about giving people a chance to dream big and build lives they're proud of. When we help one person, we spark hope that spreads through entire communities. We've seen parents cry happy tears sending kids to school and people beam with pride starting businesses. We've felt the warmth of neighbors lifting each other up. Join us in turning tough times into triumphs and break free from the cycle of poverty. Together, we can build a world where everyone gets a fair shot at success. #InternationalDayfortheEradicationofPoverty #EndPoverty #BreakTheCycle

On the #UN International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, we emphasize the importance of family. Poverty often forces families apart, tearing children away from their parents and into orphanages. Globally, 736 million people live in extreme poverty, with 1 in 5 children vulnerable to its effects. Poverty drives 153 million children into child labor, separating them from their families. However, strong families are the foundation of resilient communities. Family support networks help alleviate poverty's effects, and education and economic empowerment enable families to thrive. To break the poverty cycle, we must support economic empowerment programs, advocate for policies promoting family reunification, and provide access to quality education and healthcare. #EndPoverty #FamilyMatters #InternationalDayForTheEradicationOfPoverty
