🌪️ Advocating for Relief Funding: Supporting Our States Impacted by the Hurricane Season 🌪️ As this year’s hurricane cycle continues to devastate communities across multiple states, the need for swift and substantial relief funding has never been more urgent. Families are facing the loss of homes, businesses, and essential services, while recovery efforts are stretched thin. Now is the time to come together and advocate for the resources our hardest-hit states need to rebuild and recover. Relief funding can provide critical support for: • Emergency shelter and food • Infrastructure repair and restoration • Healthcare services for displaced and affected populations • Economic aid for small businesses and local economies We must push for immediate action to ensure that no community is left behind in the wake of these destructive storms. Let’s continue to raise awareness, engage our leaders, and demand the necessary relief funding to support our fellow citizens in their time of need. Together, we can help our states come back stronger. 💪🏽 #ReliefFunding #HurricaneRecovery #CommunitySupport #EmergencyRelief #DisasterRecovery #Advocacy #Resilience

In Boone, North Carolina, 62 members of the Pennsylvania Amish community demonstrated exceptional community service by constructing 12 tiny homes in just 48 hours for Hurricane Helene victims. This initiative, costing over $300,000, was entirely funded by the Amish, showcasing their efficiency, craftsmanship, and generosity. The project has received widespread online appreciation, with many suggesting that organizations like FEMA could benefit from adopting similar efficient and community-driven approaches. The Amish builders have returned home but are scheduled to come back in January to continue their work, highlighting their ongoing commitment to aid those in need.

It’s been 5 weeks since Hurricane Helene devastated Tampa Bay, and the signs of destruction are still all around us. Piles of debris line our roadways, a constant reminder of the storm’s impact on our community. For condo owners, the recovery has hit an extra hurdle. NFIP grants each county funds to remove debris from residential properties but not commercial properties. However, they consider condominiums "commercial property," so counties are not picking up the debris left from the storm. Now, condo homeowners face the unexpected cost of removing these trash piles on their own. Our community has shown incredible resilience, but there’s still a long way to go. Let’s continue supporting each other and raising awareness about these challenges. Every bit of help counts in rebuilding our beloved Tampa Bay. If you’re affected by these issues or need guidance on your property situation, reach out to us for support and advice. We’re here to help. #TampaBayStrong #HurricaneHelene #communitysupport #resilience #RecoveryEfforts #StPeteStrong #Fema50
