My first Christmas present of the year arrived! Duncan Baker-Brown's magnus opus, 'The Re-Use Atlas' (2nd edition) ♻️ Really looking forward to getting my teeth into this over the next fortnight - packed full of project case studies of people building from 'waste' 💩 designing for future reuse 🏗️ creating circular materials 🧱 and reimagining the way we build buildings 💡 And most importantly, all as real projects, in the real world, with the usual real constraints around time and budget 💰 A beautiful evidence base of possibility - proof that we CAN transition to a fully circular economy #circulareconomy #reuse #reclaim #renew #refurbish #reimagine #UseLessStuff
I highly recommend this engaging, informative and inspiring work
Lucky you Will Arnold! Duncan I can sent you my new address in no time in case you still are in giving mode:) Great to see this out there and congrats!

5dMust get, to see if there is a section on Re-use in-situ, a sort of 'very small circle' economy. Early buildings are more likely to have adequate Utilisation Factors, so a double(+) cost(planet) benefit than a 'modern' structural design, even from recycling/reusing materials.
