Subtlety can be beautiful and elegant, but in 2024, it's all about embracing the clash of colors! Bold and unapologetic, color clashing is about juxtaposing unexpected hues to create vibrant, energetic designs. Break conventional color harmony rules and create eye-popping visuals that demand attention. Perfect for campaigns looking to stand out, color clashing brings a lively, rebellious spirit to graphic design. What's your take – is color clashing too bold, or can it be used strategically? #ColorClashing #GraphicDesignTrends

"I Live, Breathe and Eat typography" I chuckle when I hear Ina Saltz make this statement during her introductory talk into any typography-related course. The quote expresses, not only humour, but also the passion she has for typography! You really can tell when one is passionate about what they do… it’s obvious.😂 Speaking of passion, I decided to delve into the rabbit hole of one of my passions… That led me to this new course on “Colour Contrast and Scale in Typography” ... And I’m here to share a few lessons I picked. 1. Font sizes and tracking can affect the colour of a font (especially in a white and black colour contrast). 2. Using colours effectively can help indicate the importance of different elements in your design, thereby making certain pieces of text stand out. (This is so true!) 3. Using a consistent colour in a design helps keep information visually organised and easy to navigate. 4. Prioritise Readability in your design (especially books, magazines or heavy materials). Content colour can highlight and separate different levels of information, making complex data more accessible and engaging. Off to learning more insights Toodles… Just finished the course “Typography: Color Contrast and Scale”! #colordesign

Design minimalism fuels my creativity by daring me to dance on the edge of simplicity and sophistication. It's a journey where every pixel counts, inviting me to craft visuals that speak volumes in whispers. In a world full of noise, minimalism is my symphony of silence, where each stroke on the canvas tells a powerful story.
