We are delighted to announce one of the biggest milestones in our mission to transform chronic wound care — our CLEANVLU Phase IIa clinical trial report, which demonstrates proof-of-concept and safety of Aurase Wound Gel in humans, has now been published in International Wound Journal. Aurase Wound Gel aims to provide, for the first time, a safe, pain-free, and effective treatment for millions of people suffering from chronic wounds worldwide, and we are incredibly excited to be progressing this product through further Phase II studies. Our Chairman of the Board, Andy Weymann, MD, MBA, comments: “The peer-review publication of our Phase IIa data not only provides important validation to enable further Phase II studies, but also highlights the clinical potential of Aurase Wound Gel to treat millions of patients globally safely and effectively, addressing an urgent and unmet medical need. With this excellent data we are now fundraising to support the next phase of SolasCure’s clinical and product development.” Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/d4EbWtYd #WoundCare #ChronicWounds #ClinicalTrials #HealthCare

A UCLH rheumatology team is leading a project to help understand why some young people miss their hospital appointments. They are working closely with the young people themselves to find ways to improve clinic attendance and address health inequalities. Dr Aicha Bouraoui, rheumatology consultant and Pathway to Equity programme lead, said: “Non-attendance is a long-standing issue for the NHS, and we wanted to truly understand the reasons amongst young rheumatology patients behind this. I have loved working with both the clinical team and the young people themselves to tease out some of the issues and work together to find solutions to non-attendance. The Pathway to Equity programme has demonstrated that collaboration between health systems and educational institutions is a key to transforming the lives of our future generations.” Find out more about the programme: https://buff.ly/3OfOy1U

Gaining patient insight is critical in a successful clinical study. Better understanding a patient's hesitancy, obstacles, and feedback in the clinical study design can quickly propel that study forward and closer to helping even more patients. It is imperative to not only collect patient insight, but to then incorporate those insights into the study design. The poster below presented at the AOECS 36th General Assembly Conference highlights the importance of collecting patient insights and shifting towards more inclusive patient-centered research. Proud to work for a company that helps plan and execute such critical research and resources and am excited to continue to elevate the patient voice in all we do! #Patientvoice #inclusivityinresearch #Patientengagement #VOZAdvisors
At VOZ Advisors, we are deeply committed to advancing patient engagement to help bridge the gap between patient insights and clinical development. For the last few years, VOZ has supported Takeda with their Celiac Disease Patient Advisory Council (PAC). This council empowers patients to share insights that directly influence clinical trials, ensuring research reflects what truly matters to those living with CeD. This ongoing collaboration represents a shift towards more inclusive, patient-centered research that genuinely addresses the needs and challenges of those impacted by celiac disease. We are honored to share that the results of this ongoing initiative were recently presented at the Association of European Coeliac Societies (AOECS) 36th General Assembly Conference in Madrid. We’re excited to continue elevating patient voices in research and making a meaningful impact on clinical development. #VOZAdvisors #PatientEngagement #CeliacDisease #ClinicalResearch #PatientCentricity
