📢 Thrilling Experience at the RISE Open House 2024: Showcasing Innovation in Human-Body Communication 🔆 I'm thrilled to share my recent participation in the esteemed Research, Innovation, Science, and Entrepreneurship (RISE) Open House 2024 hosted by the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIITB) on March 23rd, 2024. It was the 8th edition of RISE and undoubtedly the biggest of all. 💡 Representing the Connected Devices and Wearables Lab under the guidance of Kurian Polachan, Ph.D., I, along with my esteemed colleagues Dilli babu Porlapothula and Anandatheertan Srinivasan, had the privilege of presenting our research endeavors through a comprehensive poster presentation and a live demonstration. 🔔 The theme of our poster centered around the domain of our research which is Internet of Bodies (IoB) and with my presentation was on my topic of research, Human Body Communication (HBC). We showcased our ongoing research and its potential to revolutionize healthcare and human interaction with technology. 📃 The RISE Open House provided an exceptional platform for: ✅ Engaging with Industry Leaders: The event fostered valuable interactions with established industry professionals. Their insightful feedback and potential collaborations are instrumental in shaping our research direction. ✅ Inspiring Young Minds: It was a privilege to connect with enthusiastic young engineering students. Discussing the realms of IoB and HBC ignited their curiosity and sparked their interest in these burgeoning fields. ✅ Developing Communication Skills: Presenting our research on such a prominent stage honed my presentation skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience. 🌟 This was my first time presenting research at such a large-scale event, and the positive response was immensely gratifying. The experience solidified my passion for research and the importance of clear communication in disseminating knowledge. 🎉 I express my sincere gratitude to our Professor Kurian Polachan, Ph.D. and my lab colleagues for their unwavering support.
