Something a little different and thought provoking for our April episode. We were delighted to be joined by Clover Hogan, Founder of Force of Nature and we explored activism. Expect to be challenged - and hopefully inspired - by the conversation. Out next Thursday 27th April - subscribe to Planet Possible to be sure to catch it. Our 2024 season of the pod is sponsored by AtkinsRéalis & we’re grateful to them for their support. CIWEM (The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management) Bwlb

Check out Conner Smith's latest, thought-provoking post on the Living Air Communications blog. "There is a different, messier, but more realistic space where we can collectively shape the questions we want to see answered regarding the resources we share. Cultivating this space, through clear and thoughtful communications, is what I would like to see us achieve with Living Air. This is how we move from all-or-nothing solutions to a deeper understanding of the connections between social and ecological systems rooted in collective action." https://lnkd.in/gdDuS7gz

Earlier this year, volunteers from Cubbington and Lillington Environmental Acton Now (CLEAN) used one of the CAWR polytunnels at Ryton Organic Gardens to propagate some of the 10,000 sunflowers needed for a local community project. The blooms were distributed to local schools, community groups and individuals, with the aims of bringing joy, widening awareness of environmental issues and to bring local groups together. CLEAN has now produced a video detailing this fantastic project: https://lnkd.in/eGABYif8

Let’s Heal the 🌎 Together! Have you ever wondered what kind of world we are leaving for the next generation? At Heal the 🌎 , we’ve asked this question too—and we’ve decided to act. Our mission is simple but impactful: to teach and inspire children in Gilgit Baltistan to become champions of environmental protection. Why children? Because they are the seeds of tomorrow, capable of growing into responsible stewards of our planet. Through fun, engaging, and hands-on learning experiences, we aim to: 🌟 Raise awareness about the importance of a clean, healthy environment. 🌟 Teach practical habits that contribute to sustainability. 🌟 Foster a lifelong connection to nature and its wonders. The future of our environment starts with empowering young minds today. In Gilgit Baltistan, where natural beauty is abundant but also vulnerable, this mission holds even greater importance. 💡 What’s one habit or idea you believe can help kids understand the importance of environmental protection? Share your thoughts in the comments—we’d love to hear your ideas and collaborate to inspire meaningful change! Let’s work together to create a generation that doesn’t just inherit the Earth but actively works to heal it. 🌏💚 #HealTheEarth #EnvironmentalAwareness #YouthEmpowerment #ClimateEducation #Sustainability #GilgitBaltistan #FutureLeader
