When staffing is lean, focus on teamwork and communication to ensure tasks are completed safely and effectively. 2. Prioritize travel safety. What A Relaxing Holiday Looks Like To Me: 1. One of best things I have done is to opt for simple holiday decorations that don't take much time/effort to set up or take down. That also decreases the problem of having enough storage space, too. 😄 2. Having a large family that is scattered around the country, I use most of my Christmas budget to purchase a short yearly family trip. I contribute a certain amount for each family and then each family contributes in their own ways and according to their own budgets. That way, we can all look forward to the holiday any time of the year, when we are not so busy and travel is easier! I find this plan is more fun and more relaxing than shopping for so many individual gifts at an already hectic time of the year. What are ways that you have found to simplify the holidays? ⛪ 🎄 🎅

For families travelling away for the festive season, their much-needed end-of-year holiday can be preceded by a period of chaos: work deadlines, last-minute shopping and trying to see all of the family, including the cousin twice-removed, before leaving.  And parents often have to manage the difficult question of "how will Santa find us if we are not at home?" Here are our tips to create a sense of Christmas magic for your guests: not only will you have extremely grateful parents, but with the growing influence of children in travel decision making, the positive word of mouth generated can be priceless. 🎄For guests travelling with children, let them know in your pre-arrival communications that you have been in touch with Santa, Mrs Claus and the reindeers and they know where you are on Google Maps.   🎄Some fun content can be created for sharing on your social media channels. Install special reindeer landing signage and elf friendly zones - this can become a great photo opportunity for your guests.  🎄Have a supply of cookies and carrots available for those parents that have forgotten to bring these essentials in the rush to depart.  🎄Create a special 'Santa sack' activity kit as a welcome amenity for each child. This is your chance to deepen your relationship with your new "family" in your new country. Whether it's a traditional julbord or a potluck, everyone appreciates an invite to dinner. 🎄 Visit your local Christmas market for some glögg (they have non-alcoholic versions, too) and a festive atmosphere.
