𝐌𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 !! Recently a company visited our college campus for internship at Scaler School Of Technology and after hearing about the background of the company I was totally interested into the company as it was highly around the two major interest of mine , 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨 𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 . So without a second thought I started working on the assignment for selection in the further rounds . We were supposed to make a chat app but I was blocked because of my limitations in the tech stack that was supposed to be used in the assignment. I was supposed to use Google firebase for backend and I had no idea about it . This scenario reminded me of my previous opportunity in Dukaan® where just because I wasn't much familiar with project I didn't start it and this time I was sure that I don't have to repeat the same scenario and just after this I started with a youtube video on Google firebase for reference and finally completed my first internship project . The overall experience was definitely a package full of learnings . Here are the top three learnings from my first assignment completion: 1) You don't need to know something to start , you just need to start to know something. 2) End goal is a bonus but the process is the real learning . 3) You will get 100's of reason to stay away from the challenge but need just one reason to get started . I took this opportunity during my 3rd year of college, at the peak of COVID-19. While others were chilling at home, playing PUBG, or scrolling through reels, I rolled my sleeves and dove deep into coding. I immersed myself in understanding APIs and mastering Java concepts. Most of us tend to waste our free time and end up worrying about the future. But if you're a college student, instead of stressing over your social circle, focus on your learning curve. Points to Remember: 1) Grab every opportunity that comes your way! 2) Work smarter and harder. 3) Be patient—you won't see results immediately. 4) Believe in yourself—you can achieve anything you set your mind to! P.S.: Stop procrastinating, get moving, and control your mind!
