After years of testing various note-taking systems across platforms, I’ve finally migrated all my notes and knowledge base to Obsidian—and I couldn’t be happier! Obsidian’s flexibility, markdown-based approach, and plugin ecosystem have made it the ultimate tool for organizing my ideas and projects. It’s been a game-changer for my workflow and long-term knowledge management. If you’re considering Obsidian or just curious about powerful workflows, this video from noboilerplate perfectly captures my experience. His channel is also a treasure trove for Rust-related content—highly recommend checking it out! #KnowledgeManagement #Obsidian #NoteTaking https://lnkd.in/eGbW5MEM

Folks often come to me asking what is the secret to create great technical video content. I usually answer the same thing—keep it personal, opinionated, and focus on hands-on technical education. I learned this by delivering sessions at conferences. The session I delivered at Pulsar Summit 2022 is a good example of this. In about 30 minutes, I show 3 technical use cases that developers relate to, and I solve each with a hands-on technical demo. No BS. No Marketing. This is how you get developers' attention. Devs can spot BS. By keeping personal and opinionated, I mean sharing your stuff from your point of view, instead of following someone else's. This will allow your audience to measure the breadth and depth of your knowledge on the topic. This create automatic credibility. Share your own scars. Greater presenters are usually great teachers. People who have a thing for teaching know very well how to explain things, how to break things down into bite size topics, and how to put them all back together in a way that provides clarity. This is a not talent. It's a muscle.
