Last year I set myself a target. In the 12 months leading up to the 2024 US Election, I was going to record an analysis video of every single televised US President's inauguration speech (only their first one, not a re-election inauguration). And when I published Trump's 2017 analysis earlier this week, that meant I'd completed the task with a week to spare! But hang on, I'm sure you know that there has been a President since Trump in 2017. I actually had a small headstart in that I had already created an analysis video on Biden in 2021 right after he delivered it. It's funny going back and watching this old video, and seeing how much my analysis skills have developed, and how much better I understand these inauguration speeches now. Until recently it looked like we were seeing a Biden vs Trump rematch for this election and it would've been interesting to compare their two inauguration speeches and try and predict what they would deliver if re-elected. You can watch Biden's analysis by clicking the video below. And come January, I might have a new face to add to the inauguration series. #uselection #publicspeaking #leadership

Potentially the next President of the United States. Yay for us. ===== Sure, she hasn't been recorded saying things as offensive as some. But people who choose gross incompetence and inexperience over offensive competence, well, they deserve what's coming to them. They will get an Administration that enables and tolerates genocidal anti-Semitism like the current one. Just look in the streets of any Democrat led city. Or in any Progressive dominated institution. The horrors we witness today in terms of rampant crime, broken cities, homelessness/drug addiction cycles, illegal immigration and anti-Semitic mobs tolerated and even encouraged were created and enabled by foolish, virtue-seeking and -signalling donors and voters, who listened to sweet lies about tolerance, social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion. It's simply a fact that some states and cities are in good places and directions on all these issues, and others are not. The rest of us can only pray that the fooled and foolish wake up while there is still time.

If most of Americans could understand Daniel Kahneman, Biden would sweepingly defeat Trump. https://lnkd.in/geaighyK If Americans thought fast, Trump would win. If Americans thought slow, Biden would win. Thinking fast mostly ends up with failure. Thinking slow mostly ends up with success. Therefore, Democrats should campaign Thinking fast and slow. Democratic Governors, who staunchly support Biden, should proactively recommend reading of Kahneman to American citizens. This is the most effective way to #scrap Trump's #demagoguery. 先週のディベートで分かった事は、トランプはThinking fast型でバイデンがThinking slow型だという事。ならば、カーネマンを読めばThinking slow型の方が大統領に向いているという事をvotersが理解出来るようになり、バイデンが圧勝する。 What Americans witnessed from last week's debate is that Trump is a fast thinker and Biden is a slow thinker. If that's the case, then by reading Kahneman, voters will understand that slow thinkers are better suited to be president, and Biden will win by a landslide. Enrichment of citizens' culture matters to defending democracy. If someone who does not understand Kahneman watches last week's debate, they will judge Trump to be the winner, but if someone who understands Kahneman watches last week's debate, they will judge Biden to have won by a landslide. Even when watching the same debate, the winner will change depending on the viewer's level of culture.

(A slight) correction: Joe Biden has been a GREAT President. :) If we win this election in November, he will have guided us out of an existential crisis that kept the Founding Fathers up at night 250 years ago. He passed major transformative legislation with a razor-thin Democratic margin, navigating a tightrope game of bipartisanship in an era marked with political gridlock and a Republican Party on a mission to undermine democracy itself. He has revitalized (and will continue to help revitalize) American infrastructure at a crisis point, he has gotten Medicare to start negotiating presciption drug prices, he has let Lina Khan do some historically significant trust-busting, he has been the most pro-union president since FDR, and he has overall shifted the two-party consensus towards what Secretary Reich calls "democratic capitalism." That is just scratching the surface, really. Definitely worthy of a Mt. Rushmore presidency. Biden took the punches for us. Like Lincoln, in some ways (https://lnkd.in/eG_-s857).
From Hopium: - Joe Biden has been a very good President, and the country is far better off today - DC is waking up to 2 big ones now - the penetration of the GOP by Russia, Trump’s utter and dangerous madness - Bringing the joy isn’t just about feeling good, it is how we win This, and more, below:

We break down the 2016 predictions about a Trump presidency, compare those prediction to what actually happened, and highlight how the Biden administration has fulfilled those predictions as much or more than the Trump administration. We also look at similarities between the two presidents. If you voted for Biden in 2020, you man in office may be a better reflection of the 2016 version of Trump that we were warned about than Trump himself.
