You removed my earlier comment so I'll post a similar one again. JPA spammed me without understanding that I don't fit the profile for the job as (native) Swedish writer att all. And then for a whopping USD 28 on average per hour. ridiculous!!! This is complete rubbish. This account should be banned.

This is a 1099 contract opportunity on the Outlier.ai platform. Because this is a freelance opportunity, we do not offer internships, sponsorship, or employment. You must be authorized to work in your country of residence. If you are an international student, you may be able to sign up for Outlier if you are on a visa. You should contact your tax and/or immigration advisor with specific questions regarding your circumstances". 1099 contract does not apply in Australia. Irrelevance to local legislation? I received invite on my LinkedIn to apply for South African flexible writing consultant. Upon application and logging into my Outlier account, I noticed my Language Fluency Interview still under review. This assessment was done more than a month ago. I would really like to start working on available projects, but with a pending review I don't think that will be possible.
It's time for Outlier to hear some music..... I think they are trying to build a database at job seekers' expense!!!

1wI’m saying this in the nicest possible way. I know it’s not easy scaling. However, the onboarding process is one of the most complicated I’ve ever seen and I see a lot of processes. It will be a blocker for the best SMEs. My daughter, who is bilingual and a 4.0 GPA was approved for every ‘test’ / assessment she did but they were never ending so she completely lost interest. I wouldn’t have the patience if I was her either to be perfectly honest. Trying to log in between the different countries was also a computer said no. A lot of bilinguals are internationals and often in different countries so made little sense. Not much motivation to set up a VPN before you get to the paid gig.
