For the past 4 years I've been deep in the bike industry designing multi-day bikepacking routes, doing product reviews on my YouTube channel, and advocating for safe bicycle infrastructure in the towns that I live in. eBikes are an important technology that are enabling people live a car-lite lifestyle & explore the outdoors without being an athlete. I'm excited to see DJI entering this market, and I have a few thoughts about how they could make a meaningful difference: The things that would make a difference in the bike market (in my opinion) would be: 1. Battery fast-charging for eBike touring/ eBikepacking 2. Battery self discharge (if left at high %) 3. Accurate range estimation (Bosch is really good at this) 4. Tunability (Bosch and Specialized do this well, no Chinese suppliers offer meaningful customization out of the box) 5. GPS Tracking + 4G integration for theft (Bosch has an aftermarket module for this which is $125+) 6. Open platform that can be integrated by other OEM's into their bikes ( like Bosch, Shimano EP5, Yamaha PW-X3, Brose, Bafung models) 7. Front & Back "Dash Cam" integration for city bikes w/ crash, close-pass detection, and license plate logging.

Who's ready to ditch the traffic jam for a skyway commute? ️ Flying cars have been the stuff of science fiction for decades, but with advancements in technology, they're becoming a more realistic possibility. Will they be our everyday mode of transportation in the future? I for one, would love to see it! It would definitely cut down on commute times. But there are also challenges to consider, like air traffic control, safety regulations, and infrastructure. What do you think, folks? Will flying cars be the future of transportation? #futureofwork #transportation #flyingcars

Army operational shooting competition, if you know who is going to win, is it really competition? Does such dominance drive marksmanship improvement, units have tried to match the standards of Gurkha teams, and have come close, which comes at a cost, and creates professional shooters rather than combat marksmen. whilst it drives a few individuals does it collectively raise the standard? If not how can it be improved so it does?

I don’t often talk about my passions out of work on here but for those who don’t know, I love F1 and Lewis Hamilton is my inspirational driver of choice. In the run up to his final race weekend, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team have made one of the loveliest jestures I’ve seen yet of an employer saying farewell to a much respected employee ❤️ For me it captures some of the most important elements of Lewis’ leadership style: 1️⃣ Lead by example 2️⃣ Use your moments of success to inspire others 3️⃣ Build self-belief in those who need it most The biggest privilege of leadership is being able to look back, see the legacy you’ve created and understand you’ve helped others to achieve their dreams too! What will your legacy be? #imagine #inspirationalleaders #appreciation #legacy #thankyoulewis #legend
Imagine.... Thank You, Lewis.
Thank You, Lewis
