Had a thought-provoking conversation this week with a founder in the cardiology tech space about the return of conferences as we gear up for TCT. Reflecting on how 2020 brought an abrupt end to the large conferences we knew, many initially thought we might never see the same turnout again - perhaps believed the era of the "big conference" was over—similar to the shift we saw in onsite work. Interestingly, this founder shared that for them, the shift hasn’t been as challenging. With a strong network established, they've done the hard work earlier in their career. However, for younger or less established innovators striving to address humanity's health challenges, networking remains crucial. It’s at these gatherings where partnerships are forged, ideas are exchanged, and the seeds of change are planted. So it's a great to see the Big Conference is back. It's also a key reason why the USA excels at transforming ideas into action. Innovation starts with conversations. Let’s embrace the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and inspire.
