We are at the end of the ORM era I find the discussion on this thread very insightful. https://lnkd.in/gU9nNjzK Almost no one supports the utilization of ORMs here. Preferred alternatives are just query builder or SQL-to-code generator. I think that the point is we don't want to bet on a tightly coupled dependency anymore. What we seek are just: - DB agnostic architecture - Sanitized input - DB abstraction layer creation with ease - Flexibility for business use cases beyond plain old CRUD

Tanstack Query is a Game Changer for server state management No more: - Manual Data fetching logic - Manual Polling & Refetching - Stale data issues - Repetitive caching, synchronization & invalidation logic - Bloated global state - Over-fetching & performance issues This library can bring to the table: - Streamlined workflow for Fetching & Caching - Built-in Error Handling - Optimized network requests - Background updates - Synchronization of data across components - Separation of Client vs Server State - Intuitiveness & Ease to use Check out Dominik Dorfmeister's blog for in-depth content #TanstackQuery #StateManagement #FrontendDevelopment

✍ Watchers and Alert Rules serve almost the same purpose in Elasticsearch. Then why does Elastic offer both? 👉 You can use Alert Rules if you do not have in depth Elasticsearch scripting experience. 👉 Alert Rules provide easy integration with Kibana and do not need any complex JSON scripts like Watcher. 👉 You can use Alert Rules if your use case is very simple, say alerting if a metric exceeds a threshold 👉 Watcher on the other hand is for complex customization based on your use case. Watcher offers advanced conditioning like chaining multiple queries and performing calculations. For example: You want to be alerted when conditions are met across multiple datasets, or you would like to monitor anomalies and trends. 👉 However, Watcher integrates with Elasticsearch only. For external alerting, you must rely on custom webhooks.

📊 My first Grafana Labs dashboard is deployed with a monitoring stack using Docker, Inc to monitor a sample web application. 🎛 The stack consists of #Prometheus for a metrics collection data source, allowing queries using #PromQL, and #Loki for log aggregation data source. 🔔 This dashboard uses annotations to correlate collected logs with measured metrics. It utilises managed alerts with rules, triggers, contact points, and webhooks, with the option to overlay alerts into the panel. ℹ Tutorial: https://lnkd.in/ei5j7sw6 🐾 The development I am making is happening one baby-step at a time and I am very proud of it. Its OK if I fail, but its never OK to quit!!

Grafana LGTM stack 🔥 I have provided some different scenarios to show you how we can use the Grafana LGTM stack on a Kubernetes cluster. This stack can help you provide a full monitoring solution🔥, including logs with Loki, visualization with Grafana, traces with Tempo, and metrics with Mimir. If this repository was useful to you, please consider contributing. You can also add your own apps to collect their telemetry and use this stack. #loki #grafana #tempo #mimir #agent_operator
