Tridel really likes to incorporate lessons that we've learned in one project into the next. And sometimes we need an innovation suite to be able to try things that we've never done before. The upfront approach was to really focus on technologies that fit and address three needs. Energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and improving wellness. The technology is there to support the homeowner. So it doesn't need to be front and centre, but it's all about convenience. It's a form of new luxury. When you're standing back, all you're really looking at is the suite itself and more about the feeling that you have when you're in the suite. And then when you start using it, that's when you realize, oh, this supports me in this way. We've got balcony railing glass that has solar panels built right into it, as well our lighting solution here is programmed so that it naturally mimics sunlight directly improving the homeowner's experience. We want to make sure that when we're looking at how you're interacting with technology in the suite, that it is as integrated as possible. It's there to support you, not necessarily to be stared at The way you use your faucets, the way you use, your showers. And all of that comes together. And we chose materials especially that had a warmth to them, natural woods, and we chose furniture also that is adaptable as well and gives you maximum flexibility. One of the ways that Tridel approaches sustainability is through durability. The less often you're replacing materials, the less material you're using. Sustainability is really important now given what's going on in the world, for Tridel we've been doing this since the early 2000s, way before sustainability really picked up steam. That comes down to us caring. The point for Tridel as market leader is to keep being a step ahead, or two steps ahead. So we're trying new methods, we're trying new suppliers, we're trying new protocols, and we always want to be a step ahead because we're always thinking about trust in our brand.
People are considering sustainability more and more these days, particularly when it comes to how much energy they use. Whether it's powering our devices, buying habits, or even how we travel, sustainability has become a talking point for just about everything.
But what many homeowners don't consider is how humidity plays a role in the sustainability of their home comfort system. When left unchecked, humidity can result in frequent cycling of a home's cooling system, resulting in higher energy use and higher monthly energy bills.
With proper humidity control, it's possible to feel more comfortable while using less energy. Coleman® HVAC has a full line of humidity-control products to help your home comfort system operate more effectively and efficiently.
