Happy Wednesday, Southeast Texas! I've visited nearly all of the refineries and chemical plants throughout the Golden Triangle, and nearly all of my key customers use small, PD pumps in chemical injection and other metering/dosing applications. Most of these PD pumps are of the diaphragm type with either single or double ball check valves. These pumps are typically operated to destruction, tossed in the trash, and replaced by duplicates, as it's simply cheaper to replace rather than repair. GOOD NEWS!
