I'm constantly inspired by companies finding creative ways to weave profitability with sustainability, because these are the people truly moving the needle on climate issues. Companies like Trex Company are proving that profit and purpose aren’t just compatible - they’re a formula for driving real change. By gathering and repurposing plastic film from retail and community programs, they’re keeping thousands of pounds of plastic out of landfills and turning it into eco-friendly products like Trex decking. Recycling alone is important, but it’s another thing entirely to build a sustainable business model that benefits both the environment and the economy. NexTrex takes this one step further. Through their recycling challenge, schools, community groups, and other organizations can actively participate in plastic waste reduction and earn Trex® furniture for their efforts. Unigloves // Global Recycling Day 2024 ♻️ At Unigloves, we're committed to fostering a culture of environmental responsibility. Our efforts to encourage more recycling come as we're making a conscious effort to reduce our plastic packaging. Some of our gloves now come in completely plastic-free packaging as they're wrapped in a paper bundle belt.
