#wednesdaywisdom #wellbeing #NoDrama #teambuilding...we need TOXIC PROOFING!😖 What can sometimes lead to internal strife and toxic work environments, is when 'outliers' in your vicinity (peers, consultants, visitors, team leads, adjacent department staff, etc.) are allowed to insert their imaginary conflict, drama, and discord—into situations or conversations where they don't exist and are NOT happening. When occasions like these arise; it may require politely requesting someone to just "STAY IN THEIR LANE. We're good". https://lnkd.in/gsy5a5w4

I think recognition in the workplace is a full proof way to increase performance. The more I recognize or spot someone doing something valuable the more of that behavior I see. -Want to get better performance from your team? Recognize them. -Want to help your coworkers grow their skills? Recognize them. -Want to make people feel better? Recognize them. Watch the clip here https://lnkd.in/eeesek4f

Kobe Bryant was a strong minded individual who set himself to be great. He achieved it! We can follow his rules in all aspects of life including our #careers. Rules 2, 3 and 9 are the rules that I am most aligned too. Rules 4, 5 and 6 are the ones that I have to work harder on. Rule 10 is what inspires me the most and an area that I will work much harder on to be better at. I might never reach the greatness of Kobe but I’ll set my short and long term goals and set my self to #achieve. What rules do you follow? #recruitment #sunshinecoast #employmentservices #disabilityemployment

https://lnkd.in/gETyMAGE Vulnerability can be seen as a weakness by some, it can also be viewed as a strength. Being vulnerable means being open and honest about your feelings, experiences, and limitations. It allows you to connect with others on a deeper level, build trust and empathy, and foster authentic relationships.

Let me analyze your team. The enneagram operates on so many levels. It provides insight into personal strengths and challenges, team composition and overall vision of your organization. Sometimes the biggest moves forward are unlocked by a blind spot you never thought to explore. I’ve outlined a real life example of an imbalance we found in a team here in Winnipeg in the blog post below. https://lnkd.in/gD7-DkkW

His commitment to excellence both on and off the court serves as a powerful inspiration for us all. Here are three key takeaways from the Mamba Mentality that we can apply to our professional lives: 1️⃣ 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: Kobe never settled for mediocrity. He pushed himself to the limit, constantly striving to improve and elevate his game. Similarly, let's challenge ourselves to set high standards and pursue excellence in everything we do. 2️⃣ 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐝: Behind every success, there's a story of hard work and perseverance.
