How do "Off Market" Deals get done? Why would someone want to sell Off Market? A variety of reasons! This is our 6th Deal Off Market this year, meaning not marketed to the public and we have seen several different scenarios. Some include 1. Privacy - Owners not wanting to put the sign up, have open houses, showings, People though the home, etc. 2. Ease - Selling is a stressful transaction that really takes a lot of time, energy, and effort to get your home in the best selling condition. A lot of times selling to a ready buyer in the current condition at a fair market value can make it easier for everyone. 3. Flexibility - A lot of times owners and buyers can agree on longer or shorter escrow periods than a typical on market sale with a closing timeframe of approximately 30 days There are tons of other reasons but these are a few we have come across as of late.
