In 1+ hour sessions with 5+ people, I introduce a Parking Lot for things that would derail the outcome. When facilitating, it means I get to acknowledge their input. When teaching, it means I get to postpone their questions. By combining it with ELMO (𝘌𝘯𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩, 𝘓𝘦𝘵’𝘴 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘖𝘯), everyone helps us focus. Remember to address the Parking Lot before ending the session, or it will have the opposite effect.
