We are excited to showcase our highlight video of the Western Michigan University Dunbar Hall Renovation. Partnered with HGA, we transformed Dunbar Hall into a vibrant, sustainable, and student-centered space! Since 1971, Dunbar Hall has been the beating heart of WMU’s College of Arts & Sciences. After a complete transformation focused on flexibility, accessibility, and modern learning, it’s once again a central hub on campus! Dunbar now "puts learning on display" like never before! Catch clear views of the Media Studio, Dance Studio, and cutting-edge spaces designed to showcase student creativity and innovation. The Media Suite boasts top-tier broadcasting, podcasting, and journalism tools, while the eye-catching glass addition and state-of-the-art dance studio add even more to this revitalized space. Wayfinding was key to making Dunbar more accessible: pops of WMU Gold at entrances and a mix of colors inside help students navigate. Each piece of furniture was chosen with flexibility in mind, empowering students and faculty to arrange spaces for any need. This sustainable design also includes high-efficiency systems, green roofs, and bird-safe glass. Our Building Science team is now seeking LEED Gold certification for Dunbar Hall! https://lnkd.in/gNpubpHd
