Beware of Happy Ears!  Slow down the conversation so you can qualify the opportunity.  This will speed up your sales cycle. As sales professionals, we have to make sure not to rush the process to get immediate gratification.  When we do that, the quality of the information we are uncovering gets lower, our connection with the buyer suffers, and the sale grinds to a halt. Having this kind of patience can make or break a sale.
