5th generation warfare (5GW) is fundamentally different from previous generations of warfare in its focus on manipulating perceptions and information to achieve strategic objectives. In contrast, previous generations of warfare were more focused on direct military confrontations, with clear distinctions between combatants and civilians, and the use of traditional military force to achieve objectives. 5GW represents a paradigm shift in strategic thinking, where the manipulation of perceptions and information often overshadows traditional military might. #paradigm shift

Whatever you may think about UFO/UAP, highly sensitive military, civilian, and other government facilities are experiencing regular incursions by objects that do so at will. The DOD seems powerless to thwart these objects, and is reticent to disclose information regarding the incidents. If nothing else, this is a matter which implicates government transparency, and that should concern every American. Dustin Slaughter Has written a fascinating, well documented, and highly informative piece. A must read for anyone interested in the UAP subject. https://lnkd.in/eZsWsyfX

The Army’s new cross-functional team for “all-domain sensing” will be looking at ways to fuse what was historically exquisite intelligence systems to the edge at the point of need to increase the speed of decision-making. As the U.S. military is preparing for potential battles with sophisticated nation-states, the way in which wars will be carried out is expected to be much different than past conflicts. Units will be dispersed across vast distances and the forces that act the fastest will be successful. https://lnkd.in/eJf2p2SP

In the aftermath of WWII, there were fragile trends toward the unification of the communications intelligence (COMINT) activities of the military services. Under the Department of Defense, the Stone Board, led by Rear Admiral Earl Everett Stone, USN, was established to make recommendations for reforming and reorganizing military cryptologic activities. The services were split between unification and keeping the status quo, but ultimately the Secretary of Defense determined that unification needed to happen. The Armed Forces Security Agency (AFSA), NSA’s direct predecessor organization, was created on May 20, 1949, with RADM Stone named as its first director. AFSA nominally accomplished the merger of the COMINT processing activities of the Army and Navy organizations. It was an incomplete but important step in the movement toward the establishment of a national cryptologic effort. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/gcXRDzmZ
