'Tis the season for planning your Q4 events including the highly anticipated end-of-year celebration! 🎊 It's the time when you do a call for volunteers for the internal planning committee as part of your employee engagement strategy (experience not required? 🙃) It's the time when management tells the wider company they need to push to meet revenue objectives so they can actually have an end-of-year event OR one with a decent budget. 🥲 💫Two pieces of advice: 1️⃣allow your internal event coordinator to lead the charge on this project. They will know how best to guide the process based on your goals. 2️⃣when budgeting, allow the team to include external support for them on the day so they can *actually* enjoy the event they're about to work so hard planning. Ok. A Bonus: 3️⃣Let your team focus on their already long list of responsibilities, and meeting and exceeding their objectives. Outsource the ‘heavy lifting’ planning. Your internal team/rep can serve as the guide and point of contact in that process. Happy Planning! 💜
Good advice 👍🏽
This is sooo on point eh. The planning committee doesn’t get to enjoy anything at all. Expect a call Tish
