Making chip design more accessible

Wow, I just booted uLinux on custom silicon! On Tiny Tapeout 6 we have KianV uLinux by Hirosh. https://lnkd.in/dbyjgqCV Which is an example of the biggest designs we can fit on Tiny Tapeout (16 tiles). The memory is external, on a community developed PMOD. I followed Uri Shaked's easy instructions to flash the PMOD and then boot Linux! Amazing! Thanks to Mike Bell and Leo Moser for the PMOD we're using for designs that need external memory. #ASIC #opensource #RISCV

Waooo, linux in custom silicon made from open source design I presume; and low cost fabrication, awesome!

What MMU is used for this Linux boot?

Cool prove of concept. Not only do this show how far the tinytapeout and open source chip design have come but also show off a very cool tech stack that's let's you do chip bring up from a web browser.

Exciting times indeed !
