Mental Health and wellbeing expert. Speaker. Facilitator of humaness. Creating ways for professionals to reduce stress and overwhelm.
Those moments when you don't really know how it will go! Thanks to City of Norwood Payneham and St Peters for including me in this year's Raising the bar event. Being able to speak about our humaning, perfectionism, expectations and have a creative exploration at The Colonist Tavern was a great way to spend a Tuesday night. Thanks to the Staff and Volunteers who generously gave their time and supported me with pipecleaners and balls everywhere!

Veteran Housing Corp says that IF YOU ARE NOT PART OF A PERMANENT AND LASTING SOLUTION TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING CRISIS AND HOMELESSNESS, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM! THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX IS BROKEN AND NOT WORKING FOR AMERICAN TAXPAYERS Veteran Housing Corp would ask every TAXPAYER to demand and get answers from their elected and appointed government officials the below questions as they relate to any affordable, workforce, or supportive housing project in your community! 1. How much local, state, and federal funding, tax credits, or other government benefits or incentives did the project receive? 2. What is the affordability period for each project? Is the affordability period permanent and in perpetuity? 3. What guarantees exist have your local, state, and federal government officials obtained in writing that rents will not go up or that tenants will not be displaced or evicted after the "affordability period expires? Every local, state, and federal housing authority and affordable or workforce housing stakeholder should adopt the State of Vermont's "permanent affordability" policy as a model for all future government funded or subsidized housing projects or developments, no exceptions! https://lnkd.in/eFEUC8c8 Additionally, local, state and federal housing agencies should look to the Helsinki, FINLAND MODEL of ending homelessness by providing affordable housing for all 'It’s a miracle': Helsinki's radical solution to homelessness https://lnkd.in/er9HZSQU Even the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development AGREES THAT adopting FINLAND'S MODEL OF ERADICATING HOMELESSNESS may be of great value to resolving the affordable housing and homelessness crises in America https://lnkd.in/gkSZWYRU

The best part about working with Patrick Group of Companies is you become a family <3
This past weekend, the Patrick Group of Companies celebrated our annual Children's Holiday Party, and it was nothing short of magical! Hosted by our dedicated Social Committee at the enchanting Science North - Vale Cavern, the event brought together families from across our diverse companies for an afternoon filled with joy, laughter, and holiday cheer. The highlights of the party were undoubtedly the magical shows and Santa’s grand arrival, which brought smiles to so many faces! A big thank you to the Social Committee, for organizing such a cherished event, and to everyone who joined us in making this day memorable.

I loved sharing a bit of what I learned at The Communications Network conference! Communication and thoughtful storytelling are essential for building trust and creating connections. Read more in the link below about the power of storytelling for more insights!
The Communications Network (ComNet) is a vibrant, diverse, and dedicated community of over 3,000 communicators, storytellers, and community builders. This organization helps leaders working in communications to become more effective by connecting them to a diverse network of colleagues, peers, and programs.
