But when you look at the wider industry - the technicians, the engineers, PR teams, marketers, the curators etc. The picture is different. They’re mostly from well-off, well connected backgrounds. But what about if you’re not from there? If you’re from that council estate in the inner cities? You might be creatively gifted, but if you can’t afford studios, laptops, equipment etc. That little spark might never turn into the blazing flame it could be. So we started Creators House. Our way of saying SCREW YOU to money, location and class barriers to creative careers. 3 years and 10,000+ creatives on, but with such a long way to go!

I hired a VA. And today I fired him. The idea was simple: someone who would help with outreach, messaging, and keep me on track. It was great... Except I can't afford it. Taking risks is part of the game, but they have to be calculated. Was the VA worth it? It's tough to say. It's too early to know. In the meantime, I've been diving into DaVinci Resolve, working on two potential short films to edit, brainstorming ideas for a feature-lenght project that's still very much a secret, and pitching ideas to other companies. 2025 is looking promising and the seeds are starting to blossom. My focus is clear: deliver value and create stories people won't forget. Is it clean and easy? Hell no. But that's the point, right? In this NAB Show 2024 recording, Danny Yoon, Creative Director at Mr. Wolf, shares how he transformed the file accessibility workflow between the company’s multiple sites and storage systems, allowing artists to collaborate seamlessly regardless of location. The new workflow, powered by Resilio Active Everywhere, has improved productivity, reduced friction in the VFX pipeline, and provided an effective disaster recovery solution. The transition from manual file transfers to automated syncing across storage systems has been a game-changer, making it much easier to manage distributed work and leverage remote talent.
