😮💨 *breathes after a whole year of hard work*
I cannot express how much work went into this mammoth of a website, both from our side but also from the fab team at UBIQ. In fact, the workings of getting this site across the line have been happening for about 2 years now. I’d like to say we’ve been like ducks on water but, like all great things, it hasn’t been easy.
From the get-go, we really wanted the site to resemble St Chris; those who have visited us will know there’s something intangibly warm and fun about our School. Because of its intangibility, trying to bottle this up in the form of a website that feels *different* to everyone else’s (because I firmly believe we are different) has been a challenge.
However, here we are at the launch of our awesome website. Those who have any online presence should know that launching a site will never be the finish line, just the start of an exciting new chapter.
As with all great things, there’s more to do, more walls to break down, more mistakes to make. But it is magnificent.
What makes it more magnificent is that at our Open Day on Tuesday, three families mentioned that when they looked at the website, they thought it was too good to be true. They said our website represents our School immaculately. That, paired with some promising data - what more can you ask?
All of this simply would not have been possible without the unwavering hand of Rhiannon Butlin who will say that the length of this post is very me-coded, Richard Jones for allowing our team to fly, Joanna Short for baring with us on many occasions, Kris Jeary for the fabulous site design and Steve Cole for leading us into the future and maximising the potential of our site. This isn’t the full list; there are many more UBIQ team members who have worked hard on our site, and the site was reviewed by teachers and professional services staff from across the School who I cannot thank enough for their patience and consideration.
