🚀 Throwback to my 1st TV PITCH, 8 Years Ago! 📺 I’m thrilled to share a nostalgic moment from my entrepreneurial journey. This video is from almost 8 years ago, when I first featured on TV for my previous startup, Foodebaba.in, on a show called The Vault on Times Now. We successfully raised ₹20 lakhs from Mr. Vivek Bhargava. In 2015, we launched Foodebaba with a mission to deliver India's most famous delicacies from over 53 outlets across 30 cities to nearly 15,000 pin codes. Our concept was similar to what Zomato Legends offers today. It was an exhilarating 4-year ride filled with unparalleled lessons and experiences that no MBA could provide. At our peak, we were achieving an annual revenue of around ₹3 Crores. However, in 2019, we made the tough decision to shut down as the aggregator model began to wane with many sweet and namkeen brands in India opting for Amazon listings or direct-to-consumer routes. Key Learning: Bad times don’t last forever, and neither do the good ones. The constant is perseverance, grit, and relentless problem-solving.
