Stop idolizing the leader. Start leveraging congruence. Thoughts from an article with a refreshing view about the importance of congruence in leadership. This applies directly to brand management. Here are 3 thoughts this article sparked in me: 1. It's Time to Shift Focus from Personality Cult to Team Congruence Current leadership approaches lean too heavily on personality and style. Congruence on the other hand, enhances team effectiveness through understanding the climate, fostering the right environment, and valuing contributions. 2. Investing in People is Priority The relentless chase for productivity can overshadow the genuine need for investing in people. Quick fixes often result in long-term challenges. Congruence as a foundational principle to ensure that people in our teams are not just performing but thriving. 3. It is Every Leader's Job to Elevate the Quality of Leadership. Leadership changes and team restructuring happen. To navigate uncertainty, leaders must empower their teams to work adaptively. The principle of Congruence can be the cornerstone to cultivate environments where people can achieve their full potential and thrive. What do you think? How do you empower your team to thrive and achieve? #marketing #branding #management #mentoring Saquib Vali - ICD.D Garros Fung Beyond Frontiers

An important part of team building is creating confidence in your teams. Creating an environment that promotes confidence can often be determined by the attitude of leadership. Encouraging learning and growth, as well as being a good listener and communicator, can instill confidence in employees. If they feel seen and heard, as well as understand it's better to try to grow and fail than to never grow at all, it will show them they can lean on you and other team members to seek out innovation without the fear of shame if they "fail". Positive interactions at work will go a lot farther than you'd think for the overall support that your teams feel, and how that impacts your internal and external impact. #Leadership #TeamBuilding #Teamwork #Confidence
