There has long been an issue within the music industry, of trying to get past #Gatekeepers and get music in front of top #name artists for their consideration for future singles and albums. The are of course music #pluggers who charge small fortunes based on promises, but having seen how some work, I wouldn't waste my money going down that route. Then of course, you can send you music to the A&R department at their label, who are usually swamped with thousands of tracks for every big artist they represent, so that's a REAL longshot! Some advise that the best way to get to an artist is through their #PR people as many are very close to the artist and can short-cut the process, but I would feel very cheeky approaching PR's for such a 'favour'. What processes have YOU successfully used to get your music in front of a big selling artist?
