Uncover the mystery of the zombie salmon in this eerie nature video from the National Park Service. Watch as these fish perform their macabre dance of spawning and find out more about this fascinating phenomenon. Zombie salmon, a strange and eerie sight in the freshwater streams. These fish, once vibrant and full of life, now in a state of decay as they make their final journey back to their spawning grounds. Their rotting bodies provide nourishment for the plants and animals that depend on them. It's a cycle of life and death, a macabre dance of nature's design. The zombie salmon may be unsettling to look at, with their decaying flesh and empty eyes, but they serve a vital purpose in the ecosystem. As they slowly decompose, they release nutrients into the water, feeding the algae and insects that in turn feed the birds and other wildlife. It's a grim yet beautiful process, a reminder of the interconnectedness of all living things. The zombie salmon may be creepy, but they are essential to the health of the ecosystem.

Making The Most of Your Choices Bow Fiddle Rock is a fine sight on the Moray Coast. A great piece of natural beauty, and if you take the coastal walking route from Cullen, at the right time, not long past the rock is a lovely chippy in Portknockie.... As you gaze at the rock, you notice the gulls, nesting all the way up, diving into the water and coming back up with a fish. Some follow the fishing boats, knowing they'll pick something up. They choose to live remotely, in a potentially precarious place where they can be hammered by strong winds. They make the most of their surroundings; the precarious rock means fewer creatures will bother them, and they have an abundance of food on their doorstep. It's worth remembering that we have choices. We may want more, or better. We could start by making more of what we have. What choices will you make, and how will you make the most of what your choices bring you? #BowFiddleRock #Choices #MakeTheBest #Appreciation #Progress #Abundance
