One Heartbreaking Story Among Many ❤️ This month, we've encountered a heartbreaking situation highlighting the urgent need for support. One individual is battling advanced heart failure and escaping domestic abuse. They recently moved into an unfurnished flat but had nothing to sleep on. Imagine starting over in a bare apartment with nowhere to rest, after surviving such immense challenges. This story is just one of many we witness daily. Thanks to donors like you, we swiftly provided essential furniture and household items, transforming their space into a safe and comforting home. ✨ How You Can Help: • Donate: Your support changes lives. https://lnkd.in/eckRgMZy • Share: Spread awareness. • Volunteer: Join us in making a difference. Your generosity can rebuild lives and restore hope. Together, we can make a real difference.

Survivor Alliance is closed to the public all week. I'm supposed to be resting and taking at least today and tomorrow off. But I can't stop reading direct messages and social media posts from our participants. If you follow Survivor Alliance, you will see many of these messages there. Some quotes that are representative of the many other messages we are receiving: - "This Congress changed and healed so many parts of me." - "[I] have never felt such a belonging and connection with people before." - "This is the best conference I've been to in all my years in this field." If you want to support us to continue this life changing, power-shifting anti-oppression work, please help to sustain us financially and donate here:https://lnkd.in/ewQdXUzX

Today, December 6th, National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, we light a candle for every life lost and take action to build a safer, stronger COMMUNITY together. 🕯️ Here’s how you can make a difference: ✨ Share your voice—write to your City Council and advocate for more housing support. ✨ Assemble a care package for your local women’s shelter. ✨ Donate money, time, or talent to a women-focused charity. ✨ Dive into women's stories—read a book or watch a film by and about women. ✨ Uplift others—write a letter of support to a woman living in a shelter. Be a trusted ally—connect with a neighbour and create a safety plan. ✨ Listen to survivors—hold space, don’t interrupt, and don’t make it about you. Today and every day together, we can honour lives, inspire change, and create a future free of violence.

This Christmas, we’re reaching out to professionals, local businesses, and community leaders to join us in making a life-changing impact. Our Christmas Campaign is dedicated to raising funds for a vital wellbeing programme for women and children who have fled domestic abuse. Trauma from abuse doesn’t just affect one person — it ripples through families, deeply impacting both mothers and their children. A mother’s mental health and wellbeing play a critical role in her child’s recovery and sense of security. By supporting our wellbeing programme, you’re not just helping women heal from the scars of abuse — you’re also giving their children a chance to thrive, grow, and experience the love and stability every child deserves. We can’t do this without you. Here’s how you can help: ✅ Donate: Every contribution brings us closer to funding this essential programme. ✅ Spread the Word: Share our campaign in your workplace or community. ✅ Host a Fundraiser: Partner with us to create even greater impact. Your support could be the gift that transforms lives this Christmas. 📩 Message us or visit https://lnkd.in/ewqjpUuu to learn more and get involved. Together, let’s give the gift of healing and hope. ❤️
