SAP’s AI assistant, Joule, is a big step forward, but is it the best choice for Companies running SAP systems? While Joule integrates with #SAP products, other tools often offer: → better flexibility → advanced features → broader use cases 1️⃣ Microsoft Copilot → Direct integration with #Microsoft 365 and Azure. → Perfect for hybrid environments combining SAP with non-SAP systems. 2️⃣ Celonis EMS: → Focuses on process mining to uncover inefficiencies in #SAP workflows. → Drives deeper insights into cost-saving opportunities during S/4HANA transformations. 3️⃣ UiPath: → Excels in automating repetitive SAP tasks with customizable RPA solutions. → Scalable across multiple SAP modules for improved productivity. 4️⃣ IBM Watson AI: → Delivers predictive analytics and advanced natural language processing for SAP processes. → Ideal for supply chain and demand planning. 5️⃣ Amazon Web Services (AWS) SageMaker: → Offers flexible AI/ML models tailored to SAP workloads hosted on #AWS. → Great for Companies needing custom #AI solutions for complex SAP use cases. ✅ Tools like #MicrosoftCopilot, #UiPath, and #Celonis often outperform #Joule by providing greater adaptability, cross-platform capabilities, and process-level insights. Thanks for the overview, Melorine Parsy. I don't think SAP Joule is ready yet. If SAP manages to anchor Joule so deeply in S/4 that it can not only provide ad hoc insights into business processes, but can also intervene like an employee and manage transactions, adjust orders and master data, then Joule will deliver huge added value.
For Success of AI tools, there has to be a strong compute infrastructure… hyperscalers are in better position to deliver AI outcomes…
Scenario for a #joule. Your planning a big group meeting, ask joule to find the best time and location based team’s schedule availability (leveraging integration with Microsoft #copilot for access to outlook calendars) and the best priced airfare and hotels and hotel availability (leveraging integration with SAP Concur travel and expense)
Interesting. Can you share the source Melorine Parsy ?
Insightful
This is a great comparison of AI tools for companies leveraging SAP systems! Joule’s integration with SAP products is definitely a plus, but as you’ve highlighted, different tools can shine in specific areas depending on business needs. For example, I find Microsoft Copilot invaluable in hybrid setups, while Celonis EMS is unparalleled for process mining during S/4HANA transformations. It’s fascinating how the AI landscape is evolving to cater to diverse workflows. The key is for businesses to assess their unique requirements—be it automation, predictive analytics, or cross-platform integration—before deciding on the best solution. Thanks for sparking this insightful discussion!

Interesting
Joule is a significant step forward, but it’s not always the best fit for everyone. Tools like Microsoft Copilot, Celonis, or UiPath stand out for their flexibility, hybrid environments, and deep analysis. It’s not about choosing the most advanced tool but the one that drives your strategic goals. Which is your favorite to complement SAP? Melorine Parsy
